Did you know that the German Oktoberfest that we celebrate today actually started from a wedding celebration in Munich on October 17, 1810?
It is only fitting that we throw a Oktoberfest party on October 17th, this Saturday. Just think of smoked sausages, German potato salad, cured meats and cheeses...DETAILS SOON!
But the star of any Oktoberfest party obviously needs to be B**R. We've worked real hard over the last couple months procuring not 1 or 2 but FIVE kegs of the most prized and highly regarded German b**rs, (we know there's a lot more). Real German b**r from Germany and we aren't talking Beck's.
1 - Weihenstephaner Krystall Weissbier (filtered wheat b**r from the oldest active brewery on Earth)
2 - Paulaner Weissbier (non-filtered wheat b**r -- THE iconic German b**r)
3 - Hofbrau Dunkel Weissbier (DUNKEL!!!!)
4 - Paulaner Oktoberfest (the most consumed "only made for Oktoberfest" b**r -- its very limited quantity made each year but we got it!)
5 - Hofbrau Oktoberfest (much like Paulaner Oktoberfest but this is the OG)
Skip the drive to F-burg or the flight to Munich: experience the magic of German b**r on draft right here in town.
