Instead of doing a Did you know fact of the day, I want to go over our popular items

Food:
1. Our omelets are the most ordered item on our food menu
2. Coming in 2nd is our Avocado toast!

Coffee:
1. Our number 1 sold Coffee bean is our Iowa blend Coffee
2. Our most sold flavored coffee is creme brulee

Specialty drinks:
1. Our most ordered specialty drink is our Muddy chai! (I heard we have the best in town!)
2. Coming in at a very close 2nd is our Wombat warmer!

Good morning!

I will be roasting coffee beans all day today, if you smell it down the street stop in and grab a cup of coffee or some beans!

Speaking of roasting coffee, did you know roasting gives color and taste to coffee beans.
After being sold as green coffee beans, these coffee beans are roasted. Roasting is what turns the coffee beans brown.

El Salvador (dark roast), our signature Iowa blend, and our flavored coffee is cinnamon hazelnut (medium roast)

Due to unforseen circumstances I am sad to say i have to close Digger's doors.

We will be closing down after this coming Saturday's hours, September 24th.

However, there is some light at the end of the tunnel, we will be merging the coffee shop with pookies, so you will still be able to get your favorite coffee beans down the road!

Thank you so much everyone for your business and support. I am very grateful to every single customer who has walked through these doors, who have supported this business, all those who have helped me and have been apart of my life. Thank you so much. I am still unsure how everything will unravel itself in the future but will answer questions to the best of my ability. So if there are any please shoot me a message and I will try and answer any questions the best I can.

The merging to pookies announcement will come at a later date. If you want to grab some coffee beans, I will be here until 4 pm Thursday, Friday and untik 3pm on Saturday.
Again, I thank all of my customers so much for everything!

Good morning!

Did you know there is only one state, Hawaii, which is able to grow coffee. It has been producing coffee even before it was a state. (Only recently, though, farms in California started growing coffee bushes!)

Good morning! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Did you know that Brazil couldn’t afford to send its 69 athletes to Los Angeles for the Summer Olympics in 1932, so they put them on a ship with 50,000 sacks of coffee and sold the beans at different ports along the way. Good thing Brazil has been the world’s largest coffee producer for more than 150 years, so they had beans to spare.

Good morning everyone!

We will be out grilling for the farmer's market again this week!

Did you know there is a Guinness world record for "fastest time to drink a cup of coffee"? If you want to set a world record, you'll barely even taste the stuff. Andre Ortolf of Germany set the record in 2019, downing a coffee in just 4.35 seconds!

Good morning!

Did you know that instant coffee has been around for a while, making its first appearance in England in 1771. But it would take another 139 years for the first mass-produced instant coffee to be introduced (and patented) in the U.S. in 1910.
