Lauren McBride, our Vice President of People & Culture, recently represented Rhino Foods at the Shift Work Forward Conference in Albuquerque, a national gathering focused on better jobs, stronger workplaces, and creating more opportunity for employees.
She joined the conversation with a session on job quality and shared some of what we’ve learned at Rhino through our Recovery-Friendly Workplace practices, Employee Support Coordinator, employee listening, and the ongoing work of building a workplace that supports people both in and outside of work.
And because learning doesn’t only happen inside the conference room, Lauren and Mikael, a member of the P&C team, took some time to experience the local history and culture while they were there. A few snapshots from a week full of sharing, learning, and bringing some new ideas back to Vermont!
