Followers!!!! Nancy has finally been adopted!!!!

This sweet, sweet girl has been in the shelter for over a year, and even spent some time at the cafe with us! We are so excited she finally found her furrever home!!! 💕

Fancy Nancy finally scored a home to call her own! This sweet, quiet, patient gal has been with us since she was a baby. Over a year later she is figuring out home life. So happy for her to stretch out and enjoy. Stretch away pretty girl!
Thank you for adopting from the Des Moines County Humane Society and giving Nancy a home.

One of our own is getting married today!! And look who is making a cameo!

Curry was adopted by our Purrista Alisyn and now his hoomans are getting married today!!

Ok fam…how can you not take this sweet thing home??

Willow is a female 2 year old tuxedo kitty. Willow likes to play and eat her treats. She can stare at you for quite some time, and then you can not resist picking her up and loving on her. She is adjusting to being around other cats ok..

Alright followers. It’s time to do what you do best!

Nancy was one of the kitties who did not thrive at the cat cafe. She’s not a fan of loud noises or quick motions and this sweet but timid girl is STILL waiting to find her furrever home!

She would be perfect for a quiet home, maybe for an older human. Do you have a parent or grandparent looking for a companion? Miss Nancy would be a Purrfect fit for them!

It’s coming close to a year in the shelter, no kitty should have to wait that long to find a home!

Nancy is a 1 year old female tortie kitten. Nancy is a sweet, quiet gal, super soft and cute. She wants to relax, she spent some time at Press Paws Cat Cafe’ but really didn’t enjoy all the motion. She loves her treats and may back up for a second till you get that first pet in, no worries she likes it just not quick and loud. She really is a sweet wall flower!

Less than 30 minutes after we posted about needing help - we got over 30 messages from folks willing to answer our call!

Looking for help Wednesday, August 13th to help us close down the last little bit of the café.

Work includes hauling things onto a trailer, deep cleaning, and pizza and drinks while you work! Also willing to pay $12 an hour. Hours will be from 4 PM until it’s done, minimum of four hours.

If interested in helping, send us a DM. Will also throw in some free merch from what’s left!

Once again thank you everyone for an incredible year, we are so sad to see it go… But so happy we were able to find homes for so many furry friends.

This. This is why we did what we did. 🐾

We got this message from a former guest, and it hit us right in the feels:

“After visiting Press Paws, I was able to envision having a cat in my home and what I’d need to make one happy. I wasn’t ready to adopt yet — but I left with a vision for what I’d want to give a cat when the time was right.”

Fast forward… her sister needed to re-home her cat.
Because of her experience at the cafe, she felt ready to open her heart and home — and even created a special cat room just like the one she’d dreamed of. That kitty didn’t end up in a shelter… she ended up safe, loved, and adjusting to life with some dog siblings, too.
