Have you missed our handmade corn tortillas? Well this is your lucky day. Starting this Wednesday the 2nd our new company Thyme & Spice Company will be offering a limited lunch menu that has a noodle bowl, rice bowl, and yes a few tacos on our handmade corn tortillas. We will be opening the doors to our new business Tuesday December 7th! The operating hours to start is Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 10am-3pm. The location is at Orange Ember’s old address 218 Jefferson Street Suite . We hope to see you all soon. Everyone has been asking us, “what are you going to be doing?” Well, the answer is we have been working really hard on opening our new store. We can’t wait to get the doors open and we are planning on opening the beginning of December, if all goes well. What to say. It’s been 5 years doing O.E. starting off as a food tent. Growing to a food truck and doing pop ups, farm to table dinners, tastings and everything in between, to finally a restaurant. Honestly I never thought we would get to the point of being able to say “our restaurant”. We have the best, loyal regulars I have ever seen in my 20 years working professionally in restaurants and we thank you. My wife and I are extremely tired and need a change of pace. We will be closing the restaurant at the end of the month. We don’t have an exact closing date. We are going to remain open for lunch until we have no product left or we reach the end of the month. If you have any gift cards please come and use them up, they are non refundable. We wanted to let our customers know how awesome you are and how awesome our very small staff is! They have been through a lot with us these past two years, just like the rest of the world. We are coming to the end of this fire and the coals glow bright orange one last time. What a hell of a journey! Thank you Travis and Ashlyn.

We sold out last Thursday of our Ember Potatoes, so we are doing it again. Thursday the 2nd, aka tomorrow. If we sell out again we will do it every Thursday. See you soon.

When we first started Orange Ember 5 years ago as a food tent we sold grilled chicken and baked potatoes at the farmer’s market on Thursday’s. So we decided to do a limited special for Thursday the 26th. A new version of a loaded baked potato with choice of grilled chicken, pork belly, or cauliflower.

We are taking off the trailer tacos for the weekend. We are sorry, but it is the only way for us to stay open this weekend. We are insanely understaffed with kids going back to school and like the rest of the world, we are no exception. We want to thank everyone who keeps coming through our door. It’s amazing and you are kicking our butts! We will also have the online ordering turned off so you will have to call or walk in to place a order. The menu for the weekend is Birria tacos (until sold out), Ember Salad (choice of chicken, chickpea, shrimp), quesadillas (choice of chicken, Brussels sprouts, shrimp, limited special chicken bacon chipotle ranch), and all of our sides. We are going to offer a new limited time quesadilla, the chicken bacon chipotle ranch quesadilla. We will have permanent menu changes in the near future and we will keep you updated on that. Please be patient and kind, everyone is working really hard. If you could share this it would help from us having to explain it a ton of times this weekend. Thanks again. O.E. Crew.
