Tonight feels like summer.

Our patio is officially open for Saturday nights, and we're kicking things off with dinner, drinks, and live music under the open sky.

A perfect Saturday evening looks a lot like this: great weather, cold drinks, good food, and a guy with a guitar who somehow knows every song you forgot you loved.

Grab a patio seat, order dinner, and let JusJust Jake Musicndle the soundtrack for your night.

🍹Sue is serving patio drinks and dinner outside from 4-9.

All dinners include your choice of soup or salad, plus fries or a baked potato.

🚨 FISH FRY FRIDAY 🚨

Somewhere between Milwaukee and Lake Geneva, people spend 45 minutes in traffic to eat at places that serve frozen fish and call it a tradition.

Meanwhile, right here in Burlington, Dave, Dani, and Sue are in the kitchen today turning out one of the best fish fries around.

🐟 Walleye
🐟 Perch
🐟 Bluegill
🐟 Catfish
🐟 Cod (Fried, Baked, or Parmesan Baked)
🍤 Shrimp
Every dinner includes:
✔ Fries or Potato Pancakes
✔ Coleslaw
✔ Rye Bread
✔ Hush Puppies

Lola and Dee are running the dining room.
Kim and Sue are holding down the bar.

Dave, Dani, and Sue are making sure nobody leaves hungry.
If you've never been to Countryside Pub, tonight is a pretty good night to fix that.

Bring your fish fry snob friend.
Bring your neighbor who swears they "know a place."
Bring your cousin who's somehow driven past us 500 times but never stopped.

We'll let the fish do the arguing.

🎶 Tomorrow night: Just Jake • 5–8 PM 🎶
Some musicians need a full band, a smoke machine, and a rider longer than our menu.

Just Jake needs a guitar and a place to plug it in.

He'll be playing tomorrow from 5–8 PM while Dave is busy making sure nobody leaves hungry and the rest of us pretend we're working instead of singing along.

Come for dinner.
Stay for the music.
Accidentally stay until close because "just one more song" turned into 17 more songs.

Who's bringing the friend that always says, "We're only staying for an hour"? 👀🍻🎸

Prime Rib Thursday at Countryside Pub.
Apparently Dave looked at the cooler this morning and said, “What if we just made everything prime rib?” and honestly… nobody stopped him.
Tonight’s lineup:
🥩 Prime Rib Sandwich
🥩 Prime Rib Sliders
🥩 Prime Rib Patty Melt
🥩 Prime Rib Pizza
Dave and Dani are back there turning an unreasonable amount of beef into dinner while the rest of us pretend this is a balanced lifestyle choice.
If you hear someone at the bar say:
“Prime rib pizza sounds weird…”
give them 15 minutes. They’ll be ordering one for the table like they discovered fire.
Also accepting bets on how many people say:
“Just a small bite”
before eating 4 sliders and needing a nap in the parking lot.

🦐 Shrimp Boil
🐷 Pork Chop Sandwich

🍕 Prime Rib Pizza
Just Dave and Dani holding the whole operation together today like two exhausted raccoons fighting over a deep fryer.
So if the phone rings a couple extra times or Dave answers it sounding like he just got back from war… show a little grace.
The man’s cooking shrimp boil, building prime rib pizzas, making wings, slicing meatloaf, and probably fixing something with duct tape at the same time.
Come hungry.
Come patient.
And for the love of God, already know what dressing you want when you order the side salad.

Taco Tuesday at Countryside Pub 🌮
Tonight’s lineup:
• Shrimp tacos
• Brisket tacos
• Chicken tacos
• Beef tacos
• Taco pizza
• Upgrade any taco to a double decker because life is short and tortillas are cheap.

Also rolling out:
• Prime rib sliders
• Steak sliders
• Pork chop sandwich

Dave is running the show tonight with Dani helping in the kitchen and answering the phones, which means between the two of them there’s at least a 63% chance somebody accidentally answers the restaurant phone with “what now?”

So if things look a little chaotic tonight… good. That means it’s authentic.

See you tonight. Be nice to the kitchen. They’re doing the work with ground beef and sheer determination.
