Bangkok Bistro is a family owned restaurant established in 1994 by Uncharlee Tharngtrakul. Bangkok Bistro delivers the true authentic taste of Thailand with the finest ingredients using fresh herbs and spices. Every winter, the staff travels to Thailand bringing back fresh curry paste. The restaurant is well known for many dishes such as Phad Thai, Tomkha G*i, and the different coconut curries. Customers may choose how spicy they would like their dish on a scale of 1-5 stars. 5 stars being the spiciest and 1 star being the least spicy. Dine in or take out. I know many of you hate it when we close, but we’ve got one more fair for the year! 🎉

We’ll be at the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival from Thursday, September 10th through Sunday, September 13th. ⛵️

Our restaurant will reopen on Monday, September 14th during our normal business hours.

📍 Historic Downtown Coupeville, Whidbey Island, WA (Coupeville Festival⁠)

After the festival, we’ll also be serving at the San Juan County Fair before heading back home.

Bangkok Bistro is Coming Back to Anacortes! 🇹🇭❤️

Join us at the 2026 Anacortes Arts Festival!

📍The festival is held in downtown Anacortes along Commercial Avenue, stretching from 2nd Street to 10th Street, and admission is free.

For many of you, this will feel like coming home. Bangkok Bistro was proud to be Anacortes’ original Thai restaurant, first located across from Safeway, and later on Commercial Avenue, before moving our brick-and-mortar restaurant to Burlington.

Now we’re excited to bring the authentic Thai flavors you know and love back to Anacortes for one of the biggest weekends of the year!

Thank you, Whidbey Island County Fair! ❤️

What an incredible week! We are so grateful to everyone who stopped by Bangkok Bistro—our loyal regulars and all the new customers who gave us a try. Thank you for supporting our small business and sharing your kind words with us.

One of the sweetest things we heard all week was so many of you asking if we had a restaurant in Langley. We truly appreciated the love behind those questions! We know some of you were disappointed to hear we’re located all the way in Burlington, but it means the world to us that you’d want us closer to home.

Thank you for letting us share our homemade food, made with love, with your families and friends. Your support, smiles, and encouragement are what keep us going.

We’ll see you again at the Whidbey Island County Fair in 2027! ❤️
