We’re coming together in a big way today. ❤️

Next Door Pub Lakeside will be giving away FREE FOOD to COMO RESIDENTS ONLY TODAY, Sunday, July 5th from 11am–2pm (or until we’re out).

If you need a hot meal, come on down — no questions asked. We’ve got boneless wings, chicken tenders, French fries, cheese curds, bottled water, and more ready to go.

A huge thank‑you to our community partners:

• Magpie’s Lake Geneva, for bringing down their food trailer and letting us cook on-site — an absolute class act.

• Lake City Social Lake Geneva, for donating bottled water and snacks to help keep everyone going.

This community gets knocked around sometimes, but we always stand back up — together.

Thank you to the first responders, line workers, electricians, landscapers, and every single person who has stepped up during this massive undertaking.

🇺🇸Happy 250th Birthday America🇺🇸
We decided that the best way to celebrate America's birthday was to utilize our freedoms and be CLOSED TODAY to enjoy the day…oh and to help clean up after yesterday’s storm… Sending love to everyone that was affected by the craziness that was yesterday 💓We hope everyone finds time to appreciate what they have in the midst of what they have lost 💓 See you all tomorrow at 11am for some hot food and cold drinks and power if you need to charge anything or simply just need some A/C! 🙏🙏🙏

🔥🔥🔥 This heat has been no joke this week! 🔥🔥🔥
If you think you have been hot just imagine anyone that does manual labor outside AND kitchen staff. The A/C can't do anything in there as much as we try. One of our chef friends said she clocked her commercial kitchen at 120 degrees the other day! So with that being said please appreciate anyone that is stuck in such high temps working their booties off as you all enjoy the A/C. Want to show your love? You can buy our kitchen staff a round of drinks for $8 and let me tell you, it lifts their mood immediately to see that Kitchen Thanks ticket come back! Even a personal thank you as you see them coming out into the A/C for a break does wonders. But for the love of all do not say "it's hot in here" THEY KNOW! 🤣

This week's downtown Burlington spotlight is going to Archives Bar + Grill, and trust me, this one is a celebration in every sense! 🦖🎉

First things first… Archives is turning 4 years old! Join them NEXT SATURDAY, July 11th, ALL DAY, for their birthday bash:

And speaking of Make-A-Wish, Archives has been raising support for Collins, a 12-year-old from Burlington living with a neuromuscular disorder. Collins loves spending time with her sheep, doing crafts, showing animals at the County Fair, and her wish is to go on a cruise. Every raffle ticket and donation next Saturday helps make that wish come true!

This isn't the first time Archives has shown up big for our community either. They hosted the Burlington Area Dog Park's Celebrity Bartending Fundraiser, and I also had the pleasure of attending Chic and Unique's celebrity bartender event back in March. Burlington businesses coming together for a cause is one of my absolute favorite things to witness! 🐾

And let's not forget, this place always has something fun going on. Amazing bloodies, fun drink specials every month, and a featured burger special you won't want to miss.

We were inspired by the heat outside right now and switched things up a bit! Introducing our new handheld of the month, The M***a Cluckin’ Chicken Salad Sandwich!!! Our completely house made Creole chicken salad topped with fresh sliced tomato and romaine lettuce on top thick Turano white bread for $14. Served with house made chips or hand cut fries. Spice it up with a Louisiana hot sauce drizzle if you dare. Here all month get some before it’s gone!
