Why Tuna Kahuna?

Tuna Kahuna is a Japanese-Hawaiian inspired eatery that celebrates raw and healthy ingredients for those on the go. We were named Best of San Francisco in 2017 and Yelp’s Top 100 Places to eat in the United States in 2019. Based in the heart of the bay area in bustling downtown Burlingame, you’ll find our small but mighty shop, where we serve great food, good vibes, and fun times.

At Tuna Kahuna, our employees are like family. We believe in a fun, respectful work environment while also ensuring that our employees are gaining the necessary skills to grow in their careers beyond Tuna Kahuna.

What we’re looking for:

Semi-full time employee (up to 40 hours/week available)
Great customer service and professional demeanor, hardworking, eager to learn, a team player, and proactive.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Prepare/serve food, work the register, clean work stations, etc.
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverage orders
Ensure that all guests are greeted in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
Explain to guests about the restaurant offerings, the holiday menu/specials.
