As we officially close our doors, we’d like to extend a final thank you to our beloved customers. Our last weeks of business were incredibly busy, and have made saying goodbye all the more bittersweet. As for your kind words and comments on our last post, we have read and deeply appreciate every single one of them. Thank you once more for your trust, loyalty, and unwavering support.

All good things must come to an end.

Yes, Cedar Café will be closing its doors at the end of the month. Our decision does not come from economic pressures caused by Covid-19. Rather, it is a personal choice; Chef Bakeer is ready to head back home to his wife and kids, who have been living in Jordan for the last few years, patiently awaiting his return. We want to thank our customers old and new for carrying Cedar Café to where it is today. When we opened our doors 20 years ago, we did not know what would become of our small, independent business, but the community opened its arms to us and allowed us to prosper and grow. It has been an absolute pleasure to serve you, and we will continue to do so until the 24th of December – give or take a few days. We will miss our community and the connections and memories we have made along the way. Thank you for an amazing 20 years. We hope our little Taste of Lebanon is one that will stay with you.

We’d like to note that menu items may be affected in the upcoming weeks as we approach closing. Thank you again!
