A little message from me, the owner of Melina’s Empanadas.
When I first started Melina’s Empanadas, I was order-only. I built this business from the ground up, and I’m grateful that today I have a space that allows me to continue growing.
But with growth comes change.
I’ve noticed that every time I make a change to my business, there are opinions about what I should or shouldn’t be doing. I truly appreciate constructive feedback and the people who genuinely want to see me succeed. But at the end of the day, I have to make the decisions that are best for my business.
I’m a one-person operation. I cook, prep, clean, answer messages, handle orders, serve customers, and take care of everything behind the scenes. What may look simple from the outside can be a lot of work behind the scenes.
Having a physical location gives me the opportunity to offer dine-in when it makes sense, but it does not mean I have to operate as a traditional full-time dine-in restaurant.
Sometimes the business will be online orders. Sometimes pickup. Sometimes dine-in. Sometimes I may change the schedule. That’s the beauty of owning your own business — I’m allowed to figure out what works.
So if you’ve supported me from Day One, thank you. If you’re a new customer, thank you. And if you continue to order online, share my posts, recommend me, or simply understand that I’m doing my best — I appreciate you more than you know. ❤️
I’m going to continue learning, adjusting, and doing what I believe is right for Melina’s Empanadas.
And yes… I’m allowed to change my mind. 😊
