Dr. Dugan and Ms. Shelly were happy to receive a check from the HPS Thomas J. LaPres Members First grant program. This grant allows us to continue to fulfill our mission of bringing the very best to our students.

Ms. Shelly snagged some students during lunch yesterday, to help her with a new product taste test!

Zee Zee's NEW Chicken-meat sticks! Plain, Maple and BBQ!

We love when our students get to sample a product and share their voices. They all did a great job and we appreciate their honesty and willingness to be adventurous.

Today's lunch: Chicken Fajita, fresh watermelon and oranges, black beans and jalapenos corn.

Help us celebrate National School Lunch Hero's Day on May 1, 2026-Kentucky Derby style.

Last year was so much fun, we want to do it again. It's a district wide celebration and we can't wait to see everyone all decked out in their derby style.

Ms. Shelly loves having conversations with the students during lunch. Today's conversation will be in her top 10 forever! We served spaghetti today, a student favorite.

2nd grade student: How do you know how to make spaghetti?
Ms. Shelly: All moms know how to make spaghetti.
2nd grader: You guys are moms???
Ms. Shelly: Yes, crazy right.
2nd grader : speechless and wide eyed.
Ms. Val: Ms. Kari is even a grandma!
2nd grader: mind blown, jaw dropped

Who knew Lunch Ladies could be not only mom's but grandma's too.
