Some specials are just food... this one is a memory. ❤️

Today's special is near and dear to our hearts because it's the very first meal Matt and Jess ever cooked together... homemade meatball subs.

And before anyone asks... NO. 😏 Our meatballs have never come out of a freezer. Not in our home, and not in our Tavern. Around here they're made the way they should be with fresh ingredients, a little patience, and a whole lot of love.

Served on our hoagie bun, smothered in our rich homemade sauce, loaded with melty cheese, and guaranteed to require at least three napkins.

Family!❤️

We've been getting asked a lot lately if we're ever going to open another day... or even go to 7 days a week.

Oh boy... we'd love to be able to!

But here's the truth...

We have 8 kids, and they already spend a whole lot of time at the restaurant just so they can see Mom and Dad. Those two days off are family time, and that's something we're not willing to give up.

Tuesdays are also our deep-clean day. We believe a clean restaurant is just as important as a great meal. Around here, if we wouldn't eat in it, we won't ask you to either.

And then there's our crew. They may be small, but they're mighty. They work their tails off every week, and they deserve two days to rest, recharge, and spend time with their families too. They've become a well-oiled machine, and my momma always said, “If it ain't broke, don't fix it.”🤘

Now, we know... the craving for Tavern's kickin' chicken doesn't magically disappear on Tuesday or Wednesday. 😂 Trust us we wish we could feed you every day!

Maybe someday, as we grow, seven days a week will be in the cards. But today, this schedule lets us be the best parents, the best employers, and the best restaurant we know how to be.

Thank you for understanding, for supporting local, and for giving our family and our crew the grace to have a little life outside these four walls.

We'll be back Thursday, rested, refreshed, and ready to sling burgers, specials, and a whole lot of love. ❤️🍔

Hey family! 🤘 Just a few friendly Tavern 307 reminders...

First off, thank you. The support you've shown us has been nothing short of incredible, and because of all of you, our little tavern stays busy!

🍽️ Reservations: We take 6 reservations each evening. This allows us to save plenty of room for our walk-in guests while still accommodating those who like to plan ahead.

🥡 To-Go Orders: We absolutely love serving our takeout customers! However, when the dining room is full, our first priority has to be the guests who are dining with us. We're a small tavern with a mighty crew, and sometimes that means we have to temporarily pause or delay takeout orders so we can keep everything running smoothly. If you're in a hurry, you're always welcome to swing in, grab a seat at the bar, and place your order there—it can often be the fastest option!

❤️ Our Team: Many of our employees are young adults, some of them even our own kids. We love and value every member of this team, and they're working hard every day to give you the best experience possible.

We kindly ask that everyone treat our staff with the same respect they'd want shown to their own family. Disrespectful behavior toward any Tavern 307 employee will not be tolerated. If something isn't right with your dining experience, please ask to speak with Jessica or Matt. We will always listen, do our best to make it right, and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns personally.
