To our incredible community —

After much reflection, I’m sharing that Dalfonso’s Italian Imports will be closing its doors at the end of this month.

This business has been a labor of love — built on a deep passion for Italian culture, quality, and the joy of bringing a little piece of Italy into your homes and kitchens. Twenty years as a chef in the Buffalo food scene, and two and a half years owning and operating Dalfonso’s, has taught me so much, shaped who I am, and connected me with more wonderful people than I ever imagined. Every order, every message, every kind word from you meant more than I can express.

The time has come for me to shift my focus inward and take care of myself. It’s not a decision I made lightly, but it’s the right one — and I’m grateful I’m in a place where I can make it.

Thank you for every bit of support you’ve given this small business over the years. You made it something truly special.

A special thank you to our wonderful regulars — many of whom have become personal friends over the years. Your loyalty and unwavering support have been immeasurable, and that is something I will carry with me always.

Finally, and most importantly, I owe an enormous debt of gratitude to my wife, Caitlin. Your steadfast belief, encouragement, and support made all of this possible. That is a debt I can never repay, though I know you would never ask me to.
