So many people and families have been devastated by the recent earthquake in Colombia, including coffee producers who have lost homes, infrastructure, and so much more.

If you’re a coffee roaster looking for a tangible way to help, we’d like to introduce you to Juan. He has lost a great deal and is looking to sell some of his coffee to make room for repairs and rebuilding.

Those Coffee People are helping coordinate shipments of coffee out of Colombia. If you’re interested in purchasing coffee and supporting Juan directly, send us a message and we can connect you, or reach out to Those Coffee People directly.

Sometimes the best way to help is to keep the coffee moving. ☕️❤️🇨🇴

The Marsha P Johnson is back !
The sandwich:

A little bit about Marsha:
Born in 1945, Marsha P. Johnson was an American gay liberation activist and self-identified drag queen. Known as an outspoken advocate for gay rights and transgender rights, Johnson was one of the prominent figures in the Stonewall uprising of 1969, a watershed event that transformed the movement and the fight for LGBTQIA+ rights in the U.S.

Also involved in New York City’s art scene, Johnson modeled for Andy Warhol and performed with the drag troupe Hot Peaches.

This month, we pay homage to a fierce individual who proudly stood up for the rights of others. We honor her memory and the inspiring legacy she left behind !

Day 10 is here !! We can’t believe we are celebrating 10 years. On July 10th 2016 we opened our doors and you’ve been showing up for us ever since. We are so thankful for everyone who has walked through our doors these past years. We are so thankful for our current team and so many of our past staff that have made these 10 years possible, and to all of our friends and family that have helped out in big and small ways these past 10 years we appreciate you all more than we can ever express.

Giveaways are happening all day at our Old First Ward location, they are random so stop in and try your luck for a free bag of coffee and/or a gift card.
