We’re all thinking a lot today about Public Espresso and everything they built over the last 13 years.

They were part of that early wave of specialty coffee in Buffalo, helping shape what this city’s coffee culture has become. When things were still figuring themselves out, they were already doing it with intention.

Our shops came up around the same time, trying to do something similar in our own way. It wasn’t always easy then, and it definitely isn’t now. Anyone who’s been in this industry knows how much has changed over the years and how hard it is to keep something like this going.

13 years is no small thing. It’s a real run.

We’re all wishing their whole team all the best in whatever comes next! 💕☕️
