We take a tremendous amount of pride in being open consistently 7am-9pm here at Remedy House. We love watching the summer through the big open glass doors, the sunlight on the patio, the breeze. We want to be a space that you don’t have to wonder if we’re open or not. Where you know you can come morning, noon and night to be with friends, or just get away from it all for a moment. It takes a tremendous amount of work and dedication from our incredible staff, and I feel truly lucky that it’s what I have the opportunity to do for work.
For the safety of our staff we’ll be closing early today due to the hazardous air conditions. We’ll be open tomorrow for normal operation.
I want to do more as a business, as a member of a the community of Buffalo, as an inhabitant of the Earth. Days like this feel overwhelming. They make me feel powerless to make positive change. They’re becoming more and more frequent.
I don’t really know what to say that hasn’t been said before. Take care of yourselves, look out for your neighbors. Somewhere above all that gray smoke there’s a blue sky.
We’ll be here at 7am tomorrow.
