Barbecue Ala Mode Great little barbecue joint with lots of other food items Serving Texas style barbecue beef brisket and a number of other items.

All our sides are made fresh in house we don't offer frozen food out of a Box.. Also serving the original ice cream shop recipes that George and Dotty Peter's served here for 30 years.

The open sign has gone dark for the last time. The last front porch talk with friends has happened. The last barbecue brisket sandwich and the last swirl cone has passed through the window. It's all just memories now and good ones I must say. We will miss each and every one of you. Hopefully we'll run into you all at some other point at some other place. Now all that's left is packing up and moving out. Thank you to the George and Dottie Peters family for giving us this opportunity. Thank you to all of our customers that supported us this last 4 years.

I thought we would make it till the end of the month but it looks like that's not going to happen. We are going to run out of ice cream sooner than I thought and when we do we will be closed for good. So if you want your favorite you better come out today because we might not be here next Saturday. Don't forget we are cash only 4:00 till 9:00 p.m. permitting. We still have food and ice cream.

It's with bittersweet abandon that I have to make this post. This will be the last season for Barbeque Ala Mode. We have thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of you, watching your children and grandchildren grow up and seeing how life's progressions affect all of us. We are going to miss the front porch talks with all of our customers. But we must move forward with other things in our life too. We plan on the last day being August 31st, however, we are not going to reorder any stock so when we run out we are out. So your last chance for getting any of the delicious food at Barbecue Ala Mode is running out. We will continue to be open hopefully Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We may however have to eliminate some of those days depending on a number of things. So please come out and see us and say goodbye.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be open today, Thursday, July 24th. We will be open at 4:00 tomorrow, Friday, July 25th. We will open 1 hour late on Saturday, July 26th, so we will open at 5:00 p.m. and we will open at 4:00 on Sunday. Sorry if this causes any confusion, it's just not something we can fix right now

Biscuits and gravy and Brisket breakfast burritos at barbecue ala mode Saturday the 12th starting at 9:00. Also flea market starting at 10:00 hope to see you all come out find something you want buy it have something good to eat have a good time. If the weather holds the world they are will also be entertainment at 7:00 with Beth Cummings ventriloquist and some singing. No entrance charge or cover charge all of it's free just come out and have a good time bring a blanket or a chair and sit down and enjoy the show. Update: due to the severe storm that came through yesterday evening we will not be offering ribs until next Saturday. Being without power here for 13 hours and having quite a mess to clean up has taken up most of our morning so the ribs are out of the question I'm so sorry. We will however be offering a brisket stuffed baked potato for $10 this is quite a deal they are very large. We will be here from 4:00 to 9:00 please remember we are cash only hope to see you here.
