You can taste the difference fresh makes. 🦪 And we take our shellfish very serious! We are loaded up for tomorrows pop up at our Hertel Ave store 1375, and will be steaming 2 for $25’s downtown, or grab them from The Market at Fresh Catch

Not all clams are treated the same. We start with hand harvested clams from Maine.

Before we steam or shuck a single batch, our Maine clams spend time being purged in clean, circulating saltwater. During this process, the clams naturally filter the water and expel any remaining sand or grit. We do this about an hour before cooking, so they’re as clean, fresh, and enjoyable as possible when they reach your table.

Make sure wherever you are buying your shellfish from, you ask them if they have been purged, it’s a very easy process that makes a major difference!
