We respectfully dispute the claim that any equipment was taken improperly. From the beginning of our lease, our goal was to restore and operate a functional, reputable establishment—not to remove or misuse property that was not ours.

At the time we assumed control, much of the existing equipment was in poor, unusable condition. In many cases, items were either non-operational or unsafe for continued use. As responsible operators, we made the decision to have the equipment removed from the marina by the lake staff, if it could not be repaired and replace it at our own expense to ensure the business could run effectively and meet basic standards.

We have maintained documentation, including photographs, that clearly demonstrate the condition of the equipment both at the time of takeover and during our tenancy. These records support that our actions were necessary, reasonable, and done in good faith.

We take pride in conducting our business with integrity and professionalism. At no point did we remove or retain property for personal gain. Every decision made was in the interest of maintaining a safe, functional, and successful restaurant.

We would notify either the office or lake manager directly in regard to having the equipment removed.

Below are the pictures of the equipment that was in the marina when we took over.
