I won’t say my mom loved helping at the North Pole, but it sure made for some good memories, especially her “creations” that sometimes were not even close to what was ordered but you took it did not complain.

This Photo was Halloween 2012 at the North Pole for trick or treat, 6 years before her lung cancer diagnosis. I would call my mom almost every night just to say hi, most times we asked each other the same questions. Over the years after the cancer treatments the responses became shorter, most nights she would reply “just sitting here watch my show” During her treatments she would say ”I’m a tough old bird”. She never wanted help nor would accept it. If you asked me one word to describe my mom it’s Selfless. Her family and animals especially her grandkids was her whole life and made it complete. To everyone who knew my mom, thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this life here on earth with her. I’ll say it one last time “see ya later alligator” 😘

My favorite photo with the best group of people at North Pole Frozen Treats . WOW! How time flies by and we don’t even realize it until Facebook reminds us. 7 years ago and so much has changed. Because of this photo I have just spent the last 2 hours clicking and clicking on tagged photos and for once in my life I feel so much love in my heart.

My time in Buckeye Lake wasn’t for building a business, it was always about the connection of people. The North Pole was our meeting place that connected so many of us. From one person telling a friend about the delicious Strawberry Rocket or Orange Cream Dip, it was friends of friends who brought all the wonder people into my life and we created unforgettable memories. All the conversations We had and stories we exchanged created memories, that has and will continue to motivate me in ways that I can not explain. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
