This is what local looks like. ❤️

We ran into a few maintenance and technical issues at The Local last night, and Brian Krikorian, owner of Different Dough Pizza Co., showed up and came to our rescue.

No big production. Just one local business owner willing to lend a hand to another when we needed it.

We’re incredibly grateful for people like this in our community. Thank you, Neighbor, for your time, your help and your kindness. It meant more to us than you know. ❤️

Well… that wasn’t how we planned Wing It Wednesday. 😅

The storm rolled through, the power went out, and apparently nobody got the memo that the fun was supposed to stop.

Out came the table lights, the cards, and a whole lot of laughs. 💡

Nights like this are a pretty good reminder that The Local is a whole lot more than burgers, fries and wings.

Thanks to everyone who hung out and made a dark Wing It Wednesday one we’ll probably remember for a long time. ♥️

It’s Tuesday, which means Kids Eat FREE at The Local Tavern!

Kids 12 & under eat free with the purchase of an adult entrée. Grab some dinner, pull out a game, shoot a little pool and hang out with us for a while.

Good food, no dishes, and maybe even a little friendly competition around the table. 😉

This is what “leave as family” looks like. ❤️

One of the very best parts of The Local Tavern has been the people we’ve met along the way.

These two walked through our doors as customers, but somewhere along the way, they became family. They show up for us, share our posts, tell people about us, cheer us on, and are always finding ways to make us feel loved.

And those shirts our girls are wearing in this picture? They made those for them. 🥹

They didn’t have to. That’s just who they are.

When we say “Walk in a stranger. Leave as family.” it’s more than something we put on a shirt.

It’s what we hoped The Local Tavern would become.

And people like these two are a pretty special reminder that it has. ❤️
