Today is about more than cookouts, long weekends, and time off 🇺🇸

Today we remember and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for this country and for the freedoms we get to enjoy every single day.

We’re incredibly grateful for those who served, those we’ve lost, and the families who carry that sacrifice with them.

From all of us at The Local Tavern, thank you ❤️

We’ll be open today, and we’d love to spend part of the holiday with you, your friends, and your family.

🍻 Thirsty Thursday starts at 5 PM… and honestly, you’ve probably earned it 😅

Good drinks, good food, and absolutely no reason to rush home tonight.

But we also wanted to give everyone a heads up about tomorrow night because it’s a special one for us ❤️

One of our own, Gary, will be playing live from 7 PM till close tomorrow night. And if you’ve never heard him play before… you’re in for something special.

The guy is unbelievably talented. The way he plays guitar and sings is genuinely something different, and we’re excited for our community to experience it with us.

Blue House Bakery and Cafe We wanted to take a second and thank our neighbors over at Blue House Bakery ❤️

Almost every morning, one of our employees wanders over there for coffee, and without fail, the owner always finds a way to show a little kindness.

To him, it may just be a simple gesture giving us a cup of coffee. A quick act of generosity.

But honestly… it makes our morning.

Everybody knows what that first cup of coffee feels like 😅 and when somebody goes out of their way to simply be kind, it means more than they probably realize.

We’re grateful to have neighbors like that around us and wanted to say thank you.

Over 800 meals!!

Last night was special ❤️

Because of this community, we were able to give away well over 800 meals through our Feeding Saline County initiative.

To everyone who continues to support us, trust us, and share in this dream with us every single day… thank you. We genuinely love what we do, and we are incredibly grateful to be part of this community.

I also want to give a huge thank you to our staff and leadership team. We had team members come in on their day off simply because they wanted to be part of giving back. Our assistant culinary manager came in at 4 AM and stayed until 9:30 PM helping make this event possible.

That kind of heart, effort, and commitment means everything.

Now it’s back to normal operations today 😅 and honestly… we’re fired up for the week ahead.

Let’s make it a great one together 🍻

Free Classic Tavern burgers, fries, and a drink for anyone who wants to come share a meal with us.

These nights have become some of the most meaningful moments we’ve had as a business. Families, friends, conversations, laughter… people simply coming together.
