Many people see me in the restaurant much of the time and assume that this is where I spend my days. While some weeks, or months, they aren’t wrong, I also have a full life outside the restaurant. First is always family - being a husband to my wife Erin and dad to my two girls (18 and 2). Second, I volunteer with a local charity called OnRamp and have since the beginning. My dear friend Blake Jennings started this non-profit as a way to give back while using his love for cars. We were long-time friends through our shared passion for Miata’s and I was just a sounding board for him as he began the search for cars to give away. I soon became the main car buyer for the charity traveling around to pick up cars. Soon OnRamp grew and i just took over the selling role. I later joined the board and add my time to whatever vehicle or people needs there are locally. So far, we have given almost 300 cars away to families in need of reliable transportation. So if you don’t see me at the restaurant, you can usually count on me doing something with cars or with my girls (or both). I’m thankful for the business and the employees that allow me to step away and I’m thankful for the energy that lets me keep moving both in and out of the restaurant
