Week 3 of June and things continue to happen so fast!

This week the floors were the big project, prepping and getting them ready to be stained! Now we’re starting on the counter space and getting it all prepped and ready 😍

Can’t believe the provision this place already is for us—full of gratitude and getting so excited for the day we can bring a little HARTT to your lunchtime and welcome you into our space ♥️

Okay we couldn’t let y’all wait long—here’s current progress on the space! 🎉

Arches, gone! Carpet and ceiling fans? Gone! New hallway? Built! Stained concrete flooring and black ceiling tiles are coming in next and I cannot WAIT to see what it does to this space! Kevin Caffey and Revival Living Interiors have been KILLING IT and Rainbow Restoration of BCS & Magnolia TX has been a massive asset getting so many big projects underway…we are SO EXCITED!

Like over 100 of you voted to see the step by step progress of our new kitchen space we’re remodeling this summer and shooting to open THIS FALL! Ask and you shall receive.

A decade ago Mitch and Keller had a fun dream to bring Texas BBQ to Louisville/Cincinnati where we lived at the time, and Tejas BBQ was born. A fun side hustle of festivals and breweries and late nights and babies and weekends full of memories. When we moved back to Texas in 2018 we thought our BBQ days were over.

Fast-forward 8 years and here we are about to open our own BBQ spot, and getting to work an event again with Keller (and Katie in spirit 😏♥️). It’s so fun looking back on what we thought was just a fun side hustle and seeing the stepping stones that led us here. Thanks Tejas for paving the way 🫶🏼
