Christopher's World Grille is a fine dining establishment that has been serving the Bryan/College Station community since Mother's Day, 1999. Prior to the restaurant's opening, Bryan native Christopher Lampo spent several years traveling the globe as a private yacht chef. After preparing meals for the likes of Michael Douglas, Mick Jagger, Robert De Niro, Denzel Washington, Yoko Ono, and Ivana Trump, Chef Christopher brought the recipes and culinary traditions he gleaned during his travels back home to Texas. Christopher's offers not only traditional steakhouse entrees with USDA prime steaks, but also eclectic, innovative,and internationally-influenced cuisine that is updated biannually. Located in the historic Andrews House, a 1913 former ranch home on the north side of town, Christopher's provides a charming and sophisticated New Orleans aesthetic. Guests enjoy an unparalleled dining experience in the ambiance of the five original rooms in the Andrews house. The home is adorned with rich decor and furnishings including carved Victorian mirrors, lavish leopard-print rugs, oak hardwood floors, leaded glass china cabinets, and elaborate chandeliers. An original wraparound porch provides patio dining on cool summer nights.
