Due to the expected weather, we’ll be making a small adjustment to tomorrow’s market setup.

To protect the quality, freshness, and integrity of our baked goods, LaRue’s Bakery will be offering full-size cakes and full-size pies rather than pre-sliced cakes.

We want everything you purchase from us to look and taste exactly the way it should, and with the rainy weather, keeping our cakes and pies whole is the best way to maintain that quality.

So if you’ve been wanting a whole cake or pie to take home, tomorrow is your day! 💕🖤

I had an order for our Brown Butter Sweet Potato Pies today and ended up making a little too much filling… so guess what?! 👀 We’ve got a few EXTRA pies coming to the market tomorrow! 🥧💗

And baby, this is NOT your traditional sweet potato pie. This one is rich, buttery, silky smooth, and full of deep caramelized flavor from that brown butter. It’s warm and cozy with brown sugar, vanilla, sweet spices, and just a tiny pop of lemon that brightens everything up without taking away from that classic Southern sweet potato flavor.

Think old-school Southern sweet potato pie… but richer, deeper, smoother, and dressed up just a little bit. 😮‍💨
