I’m sure most of you have seen Doug’s post from a few days ago. Well, it didn’t take long to get everything sold!
We’re excited to share that two awesome guys will be taking over the building on August 1st. That means July 25th will be our final day open as The Hangout.
We’ve already spoken with our amazing staff and talented local musicians about the upcoming changes. We’ll continue our entertainment lineup right up until our last day. Some of our staff will be heading over to Toucans, while others will be staying on with the new team. They have some really exciting plans for the future of the building, and we’ll let them share those details when they’re ready. We truly wish them nothing but success.
I’ve been in the restaurant business for over 20 years now (which makes me sound way older than I feel!). I thought I knew it all when we started this adventure, but I quickly learned I still had plenty to learn. One of the biggest surprises was discovering how many wonderful people were right here just a few miles down the road that I had never met before.
The friendships, memories, laughs, and support we’ve received over the last year have meant more than you’ll ever know. Doug and I are incredibly grateful for every single one of you.
We hope you’ll continue hanging out with us until our last day on July 25th. We wanted to be transparent and keep everyone in the loop, and most importantly, say thank you for being part of this journey with us.
