If you've been to Worlds Edge, you've probably met our beautiful server, Bailey! Bailey and her partner, Brandon are expecting a baby, and we could not be more excited to welcome a new member to the Worlds Edge family!
During a routine 20 week anatomy scan, it was found that their baby had a hole in its heart (along with other health concerns) and will need open heart surgery a few months after birth. Since receiving this news, they have been traveling back and forth from their home in Brunswick to weekly high risk appointments in Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia.
Many of these appointments have required Bailey and Brandon to take time away from work. Bailey will also travel to Atlanta to deliver, where doctors anticipate that their baby will spend time in the NICU following birth.
While they are incredibly grateful to have access to the specialized care Atlanta can provide for Bailey and their baby, the frequent travel, time away from home, hotel stays, medical expenses, and lost income have created a significant financial burden during an already challenging and emotional time.

Any donation, no matter the size, will be deeply appreciated and will help this sweet family feel less alone as they prepare for their baby's arrival and the specialized care they'll need.
