I have seen a couple posts asking about where local restaurants source their meat from, so a quick reminder that Boxcar Burgers has been buying all of our beef directly from Frederick County farms since 2017. Obviously we do this because it tastes great, but also because I (Brett) believe that this is critically important to help keep Frederick County as an agricultural community in light of all of the rapid development. If this is something you value, make sure to ask restaurants specific questions. "Local" gets thrown around a lot on menus, but doesn't always mean what you think it does. Some of the farms we have purchased from past and present:
Richvale Farm
South Mountain Creamery
Deere Valley Farm
Pry's Beef
Middletown Valley Beef (pictured)
Hedgeapple
Bartgis Beef
Deer Run Farm

In our effort to find the best bagels for Brunswick, this week we are going to do a drop from Bagel Chicks (formerly Royalicious) in Ranson. Will West Virginia beat out Neal's from MoCo for future pop-ups? Let us find out! Pickup Thursday at Celeste Brunswick

Preorders live now:

Hi, this is Brett from Boxcar/Celeste. As most of you hopefully know by now the coffee shop is open in downtown Brunswick. We will continue to use this Hotplate platform to try some new things and hopefully bring some new and fun food experiences to Brunswick
