I’ve been thinking about this for a while now, and I just wanted to share something that means a lot to me. 🥹❤️
This picture right here was from the very first time I ever made dipped berries. 🍓 At the time, I was just trying something new and learning as I went. I honestly had no idea how much I would grow from that “hobby”
Fast forward 5 years, and I look back at my old work and realize just how much time, practice, patience, and love I’ve put into what I do. There have been plenty of mistakes, learning curves, and moments where I doubted myself, but I never stopped creating.
I’m still learning. I’m still trying new things. And I know I still have so much more to learn. But when I compare where I started to where I am today… I can’t help but be proud of myself.❤️
Sometimes we get so focused on what we want to improve that we forget to stop and appreciate how far we’ve already come.
If you’re just starting your own treat making journey, remember you don’t have to be perfect in the beginning. You just have to be willing to keep going.
Your work today may look completely different from your work a year from now. Give yourself time to grow. Celebrate the small improvements, learn from the things that don’t work, and never let someone else’s progress make you feel like you’re behind.
Everyone starts somewhere. 🌱
Don’t get me wrong I’m still learning, and finding ways to improve my skills.
Here’s to 5 years of learning, growing, and believing in myself. 🥂
