Folks in Sebago Lake region…. We got you!!! Ok my sister Amanda has got you…. Their farm, Hogfat Hills will be selling our cheeses at the Sebago Lake community market at their booth… they also grow/sell veggies , fermented foods ,candles, soaps…. Honestly Amanda is a bad ass… when she worked at little lads in the 90s they made cheese from carrots and potatoes. She taught us the recipe and it’s actually the first vegan cheese I ever made! anyway we are pumped to collaborate with them, they’re only carrying our cheeses.

Hit em up on wednesays!

My sister and her care will be selling our cheeses at the Sebago Lake farmers market . They run Hogfat Hill Farm! They sell veggies, soap, ferments all kinds of stuff, in fact, my sister taught me my first vegan cheese recipe some 25 years ago….

We are excited to announce we will be offering Midcoast Vegan products at the market through the summer. Tomorrow we are starting with just a few products and will be offering more next week. We will still be selling our own soaps, candles, sauerkraut, organic plant starters, and more. Stop by the Sebago Community Market 3-6 Wednesdays all summer!

Last summer was honey ham summer. This summer is gonna be smoked turkey summer. This was supposed to be an easy product that didn’t involve smoking. That was the idea, but everything tastes better smoked. Here at midcoast vegan we turn quick efficient cooking processes into multi day, multiple step old world tech mixed w new school diy ethos. You can find our turkey at Lois' Natural Marketplace Morning Glory Natural Foods& Natural Living Center in Maine. Actually those 3 stores have the widest variety of our stuff, always. 🙏

Here we have it as a quick snack on a Trader Joe’s baguette w rind.cheese cambleu (we stopped to make the sunflower Brie but we’ll get back to it more consistently) , that cambleu though … it’s such a good cheese.

Happy Father’s Day weekend to all the dads at the end of the world out there holding it down . 🏴✊🤟🫶

Pic one some cheese we made for this incredible conceptual dinner inspired by mideval nunneries by my homey soymilkmaid happening this weekend . Making this gave me a crazy idea . Brb on that .

2 &4 honey berries on our homestead . They should plant these at every school!!!!! A native fruit that is Producing in June!?! Let’s go !!!

3 cow parsnip aka pushki. One of our additions this year, this plant is known for its fruity tasting seeds and its unique tasting stems.
4. The honey ham. A controversial product at midcoast vegan. So labor intensive but it’s a labor of love.
6 Edgewood Nursery if youEdgewood Nurserythere and get all the best perennial edibles & native ecotypes. Perennial agriculture > consumer based “sustainability”
7 We saved this red eared slider the other day. If you see a lil buddy crossing the road help them out.

Ps thank you for buying our food, we are about to have to spend a small fortune on lab tests & new equipment & appreciate your business .

We didn’t mean to sell out of Italians so fast. Italians sold out at Frinklepod in 45 minutes . I don’t know what to do with that information, we will bring more next time.

This weekend catch us frinklepodfarm with many of our friends repping the best of the best of Maines vegan artisans. We will have our classic Italian sandwiches, we don’t make them a lot, this weekend is one of the times we will have them this summer, come through. These events are our favorite events to do. It’s such a wholesome fun environment bring an empty stomach, bring your fam. We included a write up from our display at mainetastingcenter and a few random photos of meat slicing this weekend. Also included our dogs swimming in coffin pond , how the dogs start every day ! We will have our whole product line this weekend and if I get enough done today, hopefully a couple new things. It’s been a truly insane roller coaster these past 6 months , but we are still standing , still bringing the food to the people and putting on the extra work to ensure our food is of the highest quality.
