These few pics are snapshots of why we do what we do and what sets us apart from other vendors. This is NOT a brag post! If you know me, you already know that I outsource for some items with other local businesses, work WITH other local vendors on events, and will forever support local businesses. But I started this little hobby 20+ years ago while having a conversation at work with a coworker whose daughter was getting married. She wanted the specific things her daughter wanted while also wanting to be “in the moment” to enjoy the day. So I said, “Let me do it. I can do this. My Aunt Judy used to cater and I went with her some.” At the age of like 12 😬😜 But I soaked it up! I know how to cook and serve others. I was a little doubtful once they committed to giving me a chance, but people came together, it all worked out, and I started volunteering my talents.
Sherry Fuller Crossett and LaTasha Crossett Woodell still use me for events, so I trust they were pleased with how her wedding turned out. ❤️
If a bride wants gluten free, I do it! Onion allergy + no dairy with a taco bar, I got you! Cooked bacon instead of bacon bits, 20 lbs done in 100+ heat index! Hand-washed and dried lettuce because of these times we’re living in 🥴😩 Carrots cut by hand, almost all the time! (I do now have a chopper, but only Bryan and Maecy use it 🤣) You want your potatoes from Prater’s Taters, I will call them. Pasta from The Olive Pit, got it! Fresh chopped chives was the request and 3 stores later, mission accomplished. Gluten free Red Lobster cheddar biscuits from the box—multiple stores and Heather Price—we had 13 boxes made one batch at a time. This is what I mean when I say “made with love”! Btw, Heather says she doesn’t cook 🤷🏻♀️
This is why it’s not just cooking or catering to us. We are serving you so that you can enjoy the day soaking up the moment! Fun fact—I actually hate charging 💰, but I want my help paid and expenses covered, plus I’d like to stay married to Bryan Bond 🤪 His first question when we start cooking is, “Are we doing this for free?” 🫣😬 This is the #1 reason that I’m still home-based and not doing all those things you beg me to do 😂😂 My favorite scripture is Colossians 3:23 and my hope is that you see that in everything we do. I am forever grateful for where this little side hustle has taken me and so thankful for all of you that continue to trust us with the biggest days of your life ❤️❤️
