Screech Owl Brewing is the first Licensed Brewery in the history of Preston County, West Virginia since it was founded in 1818. Located on our family farm, 5.3 miles off Inter-state Highway I-68, exit no. 29-- in the mountains of Preston County West Virginia. Opening September 4, 2015 after 3 years of working on the construction and licensing. We are a 10 barrel micro-brewery producing 800 to 1000 barrels of b**r a year. All our breads are baked on site and made using our spent grain from the brewing process. You can also enjoy our b**r in 16 oz cans and draft at a variety of restaurants, bars and stores in a 7 county area around the brewery and 2 counites in Western Maryland. We use all natural ingredients, no preservatives or pasteurization in our brewing process. Our products must be kept cold. Stop by and see if we can make you a believer in local b**r. Looking forward to introducing you into the world of small batch brewing and craft b**r.

Here we go folks Friday is here.
Specials this weekend Friday and Saturday is a Fried Chicken Sandwich with toppings of your choice. our B**r battered Shrimp and Mushrooms are still available along with our full menu. Grandmother's desserts are Peanut Butter Pie and a Warm, Fresh Apple Cake loaded with apples and caramel chips, topped with a dollop of ice cream covered with a drizzle of caramel topping.

25 Years ago I was on I-40 between Nashville and Knoxville TN in Route to Port Newark Container Terminal, NJ. I was at a little Mom And Pop's Truck Stop eating Pinto Beans and Cornbread when someone came in and ask to have the TV's turned to the news. The next morning I was at the container terminal standing on the edge of the Newark Bay looking across the water at the smoke still rising from the attack. Where were you? Never Forget!

Wednesday at The Brewery. Lots going on.. Fermenters are bubbling, canner is winding up, Brite Tanks are doing their polishing of the b**r and the bakers are baking for the weekend.
