I want to take a moment to express my gratitude and appreciation to everyone who participated in this past weekend’s gathering in honor of my life partner, Steve Harris, the memorable and moving celebration it was.

Special thanks goes to Eric Evans at Brownwood Lyric Theatre for providing the space, Hayley and Sara at 10 Mile Productions for the pre-show gathering space and for donating food and the commitment of a percentage of sales to Greenleaf Cemetery, Elibeth and Marcos at Tr3s leches bakery for the cookies, and to Nathan Russell for the moving tribute through film. Fundraising Memorial Celebration
of Steve Harris

Hello friends. I wanted to take a moment to give an update on the upcoming memorial fundraiser benefitting Greenleaf Cemetery.
There are a few details left to iron out, but here is what we know at the moment:

Date: Saturday, October 19, 2024
Place: Brownwood’s Lyric Theater
Time: 7:30p.m.
Event: Screening of one of Harris’s favorite movies
Price: $10 (tickets will be available online or in person at the box office and will benefit Greenleaf Cemetery Association )

While the exact movie has yet to be nailed down, other details have. To start the evening, 10 Mile Productions will host a reception from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of wine and beer during this time will be donated to Greenleaf Cemetery. I will also have the doors to Steves' Market & Deli open during this time for you to hang out one last time and remember the good times.

Stay tuned here for the formal announcement as soon as all the details are nailed down. This will be a fun evening of remembering Steve and the impact he had on this community. I look forward to seeing you there. 💁🏽‍♂️❤️💕
