There were days when it felt like this moment would never come.

For nearly a year and a half, we waited. We watched. We dealt with delays that were completely outside of our control. Like many of you, we were anxious to get moving, but until the sidewalk project was complete, our hands were tied.

Today, I’m proud to say we’re finally in the final phase of bringing Iron Bridge Tap House to life.

The amount of progress that’s been made since we got back into the building has been incredible. I want to sincerely thank every friend, contractor, subcontractor, supplier, and tradesperson who came together and gave this project everything they had. Your hard work is turning a dream into reality, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Our custom sign has been delayed, but it’s expected to be installed within the next 4–6 weeks. Even with that setback, we’re moving full speed ahead. If everything continues to come together, we’re hoping to welcome everyone through our doors in late September or mid-October.

As a Brownsville native, a hometown boy from Hiller, and a proud veteran, this project means more to me than opening a restaurant. It’s about believing in this community. It’s about investing back into the place that helped shape me. It’s about creating a gathering place where friends become family, visitors become regulars, and everyone feels welcome.

To everyone who has followed this journey, shared our posts, stopped to ask about our progress, or simply believed in what we’re building—thank you. Your support has meant more than you know.

The next time I write one of these updates, I hope it’s to say…

“We’re Open.”

UPDATE: As of now we still have no exact opening date to share with you guys due to the still ongoing "IronBridge Project"(Last we heard the road is to be open September 17th). We will let you know, when we know.

However, we would like to share some progress of whats going on inside: Bar and Kitchen Area installed and almost completed, TV's are hung, Custom Butcher Block Table Top for the "Mezzanine Area", Custom Footstool for the bar and Custom Bar are completed(Fabrication and Install done by Jose Perez and Jackson Brown helped w/ the install).
