Other locations later opened in Harlingen, Weslaco, McAllen, and another Brownsville location on Paredes Line Road near Boca Chica Boulevard. The upkeep of these restaurants is maintained bye Justo Barrientes' sons, son-in-law, and grandsons. If you like FRESH, CONSISTENT, and DELICIOUS seafood be it oysters on the half shell, broiled, fried, or cocktail shrimp, stuffed crab, mussels, scallops, our savory Red Snapper, or fried filet of fish, or maybe even a little bit of everything, come join us!

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the news of the passing of our long-time co-owner and manager, Mr. Justo González, a namesake and grandson of our founder, the late Justo Barrientes, Sr.

We will honor his life this week, so thank you in advance for your understanding during our Oyster Bar family’s grief.
