Waltrip’s will be closed the remainder of today. Still no power and still unsure when it will return. We are sorry for this and any inconvenience and we hope to see you tomorrow!!

Waltrip’s Corner is currently without power. We made a phone call and there is no given time as to when power will be restored. With that being said, soda and ice machines currently don’t work, no lighting in the restaurant, no toaster, crockpots or microwave. I will post as soon as possible if we will be closing or not.

These glasses were found on the floor behind a back table by the toys. If these are your glasses, they’ll be at the restaurant when we open Tuesday!!!

With the Holiday nearing, we just wanted to remind everyone that we have gift certificates available. Any amount and no experation date! The business will also be CLOSED DECEMBER 25th AND DECEMBER 26th to celebrate the holiday with family! We thank you all for your business and continued support!!

Waltrip’s Corner has closed early for the day, today, Saturday November 29th. Roads are awful and there is little to no business. Please stay safe if you have to get out and we are sorry for any inconvenience.

We are a little late posting our Holiday hours, and I apologize about that. We will be closed on November 27th for Thanksgiving and will also be closed on Friday, November 28th. We will reopen Saturday, November 29th. We wish you all a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!!

UPDATE: OWNER HAS BEEN FOUND

On Wednesday, 11/12/25, a men’s wedding band was found on the floor, near the door, at Waltrip’s Corner. If you’re missing yours, please give us a call and tell us what it looks like and we will let you know if it’s yours. 618-431-5472

Waltrip’s Corner Customers, we are still without telephone service due to a mix up with our phone provider. We are aware of the inconvenience and sorry for it. We have a TEMPORARY cell phone number that can be used to place orders, but please only call after 7 a.m. and before 1:20 p.m. as business hours are 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

This number will be used until the business number is up and running again. Please understand as this is a cell phone in use, service may not always be great but we will do our best to answer all calls and take care of our customers as best as we can.
