Some things start the way the best things always do: two friends, an obsession, and a question that wouldn't let them go.
Park and Zach didn't set out to open a coffee shop. They set out to make the perfect cup — and then kept going. Through late nights, failed experiments, and one idea that turned into a soon-to-be-patented invention, a vision started taking shape. A place built not just around coffee, but around craft. Around people. Around community.
But every vision has a missing piece.
Ours walked in the door in the form of Jonah, owner of Kingdom Coffee Company Roasters and culinary craftsman, who sees coffee the way a chef sees a plate. With Jonah alongside us, what was a dream between two friends became something we could actually build.
Tempest Artisan Coffee Bar is for the early morning regulars, the Mom-to-Mom playdates, the long lunch meetings, the first dates, the old friends catching up over something exceptional. We believe a great cup of coffee, or a perfectly crafted cocktail on a Thursday night, isn't just a drink. It's an experience. It's a moment. It's the kind of thing that makes a place feel like it’s yours.
