I have had some requests to smoke some ribs for this Labor day weekend, let me know if anybody wants any, they'll be just like I did on July 4th. $20.00 per slab, slow smoked and ready to heat, pre order only and I will announce a pick up location in Brownsburg for Saturday the 31st.
I will probably cut the orders off at around 50 slabs, leave a comment here or message me.
Thanks,
Eric

There's nothing dad liked more then selling ribs outside the restaurant from the rib shack and being in the July 4th parade, with that said I will be re creating that this Thursday July 4th in Dads honor, Rain or Shine from 11AM until we are sold out, in front of the old restaurant which is now the Locale 932 E. Main.
$20.00 per slab just like dad used to charge for a whole slab of slow smoked baby back ribs, we will also be selling pulled pork by the pound, $15.00 per pound.
Pulled Pork sandwich with choice of cole slaw or baked beans $10.00
Cash only, tax included.
Look forward to seeing some old friends and familiar faces.

Sorry this is so late, I want to thank everyone who came out to the Celebration at Dads farm in his honor on Oct. 9th, it was a nice crisp fall evening and I think everyone enjoyed themselves, I want to give a Big Thank you, to Jeff Purdy, Steve Freeman, John Casey and the numerous other players that donated their time to come out and play in Dad's honor, I'm sure he was Smiling, I also want to thank bob Henderson my Chef who opened up the restaurant with Dad and I, I became sick a couple days before the party and Bob stepped in and prepared all the food and also took all the attached pictures, it is always great to see all the pit stop employees and customers and hopefully we can make it an annual type of reunion.

It is with the deepest of sorrows that I announce that we have lost a Great One, my Dad and a friend to all that knew him passed away Peacefully yesterday afternoon, Dad was a true Pioneer in the foodservice industry since 1961, You couldn't travel anywhere where you wouldn't meet someone who didn't know him or had eaten at one of his foodservice establishments and they most certainly would have a story to tell, he lived life to the fullest in everything he did, he would light up a room by his infectious personality and humor. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him, I'm sure he is upstairs right now telling them they need to season the food better, he would of been 88 in July and this Saturday would of been their 40th Wedding anniversary to his loving wife Dorothy, services will be held at Flanner and Buchanan Speedway 2950 N. High School road 46224 Date and time TBA
