Today, the Brownfield City Council proudly approved a resolution naming the six fields at the Brownfield Sports Complex in honor of Ruben Garcia Jr.

A Brownfield native, Texas Tech Hall of Honor inductee, professional baseball player, and distinguished FBI leader, Mr. Garcia's remarkable achievements and lifelong commitment to excellence have brought great honor to our community.
