A Message from Dairy Cottage
Brookville, Indiana
As an ownership team, we are excited to announce the appointment of Michael Wilborn as the General Manager of Dairy Cottage. Michael will be leading our longtime team as we move forward with an exciting new chapter for a Brookville tradition that has been serving our community for nearly 70 years.
Michael is looking forward to working alongside the same dedicated team that has helped make Dairy Cottage what it is today — including team members whose families have been part of the business for as many as three generations. His focus will be on preserving the traditions and quality our customers have come to expect while also finding new ways to make the Dairy Cottage experience even better.
That means continuing to serve the favorites generations of families have enjoyed, including our fried chicken, the G-Boy, our large selection of drinks and ice cream, and the traditional meals that have become part of so many family memories. Those memories stretch back almost 70 years to when Gary Shaw first had the vision for Dairy Cottage and created his lasting legacy, the G-Boy.
Jamie Lee, who has served as General Manager of The Dairy Cottage since 2022, is pursuing other opportunities.
As owners, Jenny and Mick Wilz, along with Brian and Amy Noah, are excited about the future of Dairy Cottage and about supporting Michael and the entire team as they build on the traditions that have made this restaurant such an important part of Brookville and Franklin County.
There is also plenty to look forward to as we finish 2026 and head into 2027. Among Michael's priorities will be maintaining the quality and consistency of the food Dairy Cottage is known for while improving the overall customer experience. Plans include catering expansion, improving drive-through times, adding local delivery, streamlining online ordering, and celebrating wins, teamwork and strong efforts by serving large groups following local sporting events.
While we're excited about these improvements, the heart of Dairy Cottage will remain the same: great food, familiar faces, and a commitment to our community.
We are incredibly proud to be part of the Dairy Cottage story and grateful to the generations of customers and employees who have made that story possible. As Dairy Cottage heads into its 70th year serving Franklin County, we are excited about what's ahead and look forward to continuing to serve the Brookville community for many years to come.
Please stop by, say hello, and introduce yourself to Michael. We look forward to seeing you at Dairy Cottage!
