Let me reintroduce myself…
We just hit 8 thousand followers on here & I think it’s about time I finally reintroduce myself for everyone who isn’t familiar with me and my business! ☕️
Hi hello! My name is Jasonna Hockinson & I own and operate this lil coffin-core cafe, Grounded Brewings! ☕️⚰️
I fell in love with coffee back in 2021. It’s more than “just a cup of coffee”, it’s an art, a hobby, a craft. I started out with a Breville espresso machine after tooons of research on how to make a good, meaningful coffee. With Dunkin being the only thing I really knew at the time, I realized how awful it actually was. Just my opinion. 💁🏻♀️ I was constantly finding excuses to make drinks for my friends and family. I loved finding different ways to make new things. Most importantly, I loved breaking people out of what they knew to find something different that made them happy. I made people happy by making drinks and it just clicked, I wanted to expand what I could do to more people. I wanted to make people happy, and if I could do that by doing what I love most, why not take that leap?
I knew since high school I’ve wanted to own my own business, just never knew what it would be until 2022 when I started deep diving into bringing my vision to life. I started out with my coffee trailer back in June of 2023 with the idea of it becoming a side hobby of mine. Couple weekends, maybe some craft shows, sport tournaments, whoever would let me come set up. I remember opening & booking up instantly, even booking into the next year. Words could not have expressed how thankful I was for that, I still am. I worked my ass off the next couple years and the opportunity to open my very own brick & mortar popped up. It was either, open a brick & mortar, or build another coffee trailer. It may be a little bit obvious what road I took…so here we are. So very grateful for everything and everyone who’s helped me get to where we are now. Very thankful for the staff I found to help me keep the shop running as smooth as possible. Truly couldn’t have done any of this without any of you and I just wanted to say thank you for giving me this chance to share what I love with everyone out there. I’m so grateful for every single one of you, so many of yall have become friends of ours at the trailer and shop, and honestly we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🖤
My why? I do this to make others happy, I do this to share my art and ideas with everyone else, I do this to make everyone feel welcome & create an experience unlike no other in an atmosphere that’s not as common, I do this for the friends I’ve made along the way. ✨
Thank you for being apart of this journey with me & my crew. We hope to continue growing & providing for you and our community. 🫶🏻
Yikes this is sooo long, my bad. Just got a lot of love for this lil business. 😌
We’ll see ya soon,
- Jasonna ☕️⚰️🖤⚡️
