Back in 2019, while Missy and I were hiking the Appalachian Trail, we spent months walking through some of the most ancient, beautiful forests in the country. When you live out of a backpack for that long, the woods stop being just a place to visit—they become your home. You see firsthand how vital, and how fragile, these wild corridors really are.

We came off that trail knowing we had to give back.

That is the entire foundation of 803 Outpost. We didn't just want to roast incredible coffee; we wanted to build an engine for conservation.
