💪💚 STRONG BODY. STRONG FAITH. STRONG PURPOSE. Citizen Dorothy knows keeping in shape is important—and she’s putting in the work! 💪 But at Brookwood®, we believe there’s another kind of strength that matters even more.

As Brookwood’s founder has always said: “You will see adults with visible disabilities at Brookwood. But you won’t find a single Citizen with a spiritual disability.”

What a beautiful reminder for all of us. The world may notice what someone can or cannot do physically, but God looks deeper. He sees the heart. He sees purpose. He sees gifts. He sees His beloved child. 💚

At The Brookwood Community™, we see that truth lived out every day through Citizens like Dorothy—working hard, growing stronger, encouraging others, and reminding us what a life rooted in faith can look like.

⚾️ Talk about a MAJOR LEAGUE OPPORTUNITY! ⚾️ On Friday, Brookwood® Citizens traded the workshops for the ballpark and headed to cheer on the Houston Astros! 🧡💙 And as if a night at the game wasn’t exciting enough… CEO Greg Hubert got the honor of throwing out the FIRST PITCH! ⚾️🔥 We’re happy to report he made it over the plate. 😉

But this night was about more than baseball. It was a pretty amazing example of one of the GOD RICH Core Values Citizens at The Brookwood Community™ live out every day:

💚 OPPORTUNITY. Opportunity to work. Opportunity to learn. Opportunity to build friendships. Opportunity to experience new things. And sometimes… opportunity to watch your CEO take the mound at an Astros game! 😂⚾️
