Last weekend was very special! ๐ชฝ๐ฉท๐ฆ
The Cassara sisters and family brought to light something very beautiful. The street co-naming and celebration of life for their mom, Rose. ๐น
The SBC family was asked to make a butter cookie tray for this beautiful event ๐ We are so thankful to have been a part of this, especially, in a sweet way๐ฅน๐
A remembrance piece for our neighborhood.๐ฉท๐
Rose, was a staple of the community and everyone knew her. A beautiful woman with a big heart of gold ๐ Those who were lucky enough to be family with her, work with her, live near her and see her everyday, truly knew and still know how special she was and will always be!๐๐๐๐๐
She was a wonderful woman and a very important piece to the Williamsburg community. An old timer-no doubt! Her contagious smile and unforgettable personality. My family and I had the absolute pleasure of knowing Rosie. We had the pleasure of being yard neighbors with her and her family. ๐ฉท
As kids , my sisters and I would put on plays for her in the back yard-perform spontaneous pool shows and laugh with her. Like old school Brooklyn woman did-we would see her hang her clothes on the line-just like our mom did. We would watch them chat and hang their clothes together ๐
They would talk and laugh all the time. Even passing her on her stoop was wonderful. We could talk to her forever, She lit up the whole block!โจโจโจโจโจโจ
Unfortunately , nothing stays the same and people do pass on. ๐We get to hold on to memories and the beautiful moments we share together. This street name will always show the strength and love she shared with everyone . A strong woman who cared and helped! The passerbyโs and people who donโt come from our neighborhood may not know exactly what it means when they pass it by, but we do. The family and friends of Rosie will forever know what it stands for.๐ช๐๐ฎ๐น
If you get the chance to walk by it, just know Rosie is still sharing her love and charm with you-The Rose Cassara Way๐ฉท๐ฉท๐ฉท๐ฉท๐ชฝ๐ชฝ๐ชฝ๐ชฝ๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ฅน๐ฅน
