Rosh Hashanah starts next Friday at sundown. It’s still summer, but we’ve been working hard on some awesome holiday specials. One of the most nostalgic Jewish new year flavors for us is 🍏 apples dipped in honey. So this go around the sun, we turned those flavors into a cocktail and made a delicious apple and honey gin sour. It’s Sawako Okochi approved.

And we also have a whole bunch of awesome, new year inspired food specials as well! Reservations available via Resy or just give us a call! 📞

Have you tried our Jew 🥚 Egg? It’s our version of a Scotch egg, but instead of being a hard boiled egg wrapped in sausage, breaded and fried, ours is a soft boiled egg wrapped in falafel and fried. Crack it open and you get a deliciously runny yolk!

We seasonally change what we serve the egg with. This summer we’ve got some whipped feta, smashed Suzuki_Farms_DE Japanese cucumbers, preserved lemon, Matthew’s amazing Sephardic chili crisp, and a whole bunch of summery herbs. Get it while the days are still hot! ☀️

What should our autumn Jew Egg come with? ⬇️ your suggestions in the comments.

We’re back from break and Matthew is cooking up this awesome sweet creamy corn babka à la mode with peach sherbet and basil. We grew the peaches and the basil, but Payton Haasl actually carried the corn back from Iowa! That’s some serious love all around. ❤️ Come check out what other fun things we’re cooking up this summer!

We’re having a Bar-Mitzvah! Again!

That’s right! We will be turning 13 on August 1st! A lot has changed since the last time Aaron Israel had a Bar-Mitzvah! How should we celebrate this time?

For starters, we’ll be on our annual summer break getting some much needed rest and relaxation in. We’ll be closed starting Tuesday, July 28th and reopening for regular business hours on Tuesday, August 11th. Come join us before we go on vacation or when we get back!

But when we get back, what should we do to celebrate this milestone? We haven’t decided yet, but stay tuned! We have some ideas. They might include a candle lighting ceremony, a cool collaboration, maybe a DJ, probably not some chair lifts, but you never know!

Comment below ⬇️ with your suggestions! And Swipe to see Sawako Okochi on the day we got the keys back in 2013!

Thank you for supporting us and being a part of our family for an amazing 13 years. We can’t wait to see what the future holds!

We’ve got a beautiful 🐟 fish 🍜 special. It’s a dashi based broth made with , known as Japanese sea bream, a homemade scallop kamaboko 🍥 (fish cake) and some sorrel to top it all off with a lemony spring green. Jewish people traditionally use sorrel for green borscht or schav. The nice acidity makes it delicious in fish ramen too! Only for a limited time!
