There’s a new morning ritual in DUMBO.

Em Vietnamese Bistro now serves Vietnamese breakfast Friday–Sunday, 8:30–11:30 AM.

Each week we’ll introduce something different — sometimes nostalgic, sometimes playful — but always comforting. Our bánh cuốn will remain, folded fresh every morning, along with a warm bowl of congee to anchor the menu.

Come taste what we grew up eating. 💚🥢

Due to fireworks, DUMBO will close to cars after 2PM and pedestrian access will be restricted. Only those with reservations, local ID, or fireworks tickets will be allowed through.

Our staff will be at the Washington St barricade to assist and confirm your reservation—just let them know you’re dining with us. See you soon!

Em will be closed every Monday & Tuesday until further notice in an effort to keep our staff in optimal physical condition during the COVID19 pandemic. Normally we would press on, but it’s never been more important to keep our immune systems strong 💪 We will be back together with this luscious Strawberry Fields smoothie on Wednesday through Sunday. Sorry for any inconvenience🙏🙇‍♂️

Em will be closed on Monday, April 20th due to lack of supplies. Ly’s Chicken Wings will be available again together with the rest of our menu on Wednesday, April 22nd (we are closed Tuesdays). Reminder: the chicken wings and rice dishes are available ONLY on our website. Em will strive to remain open during the COVID19 pandemic for as long as we can!
