We are still pursuing the cafe and have a few things moving in the background while we solidify our plans going forward.

We may look to a different form of crowdsourcing that can be a bit more open ended until we actually open our first location.

I got a couple of questions recently regarding the new Kickstarter for Kobold Cafe Brooklyn so I wanted to address them here:

Q: I supported the old campaign - will I be charged on both if I pledge again?

A: No! Kickstarter does not charge any pledges unless the campaign is successful. The original kickstarter was NOT funded and you will NOT be charged. If you still want to support our efforts you will need to make a new pledge on this page. You will NOT be charged on the old campaign since it was not funded.

Q: The original ask was $86,000 now you only need $6,000. What happened?

A: A lot happened! We were able to procure private investments, and locate a smaller and more "move in ready" location. We are using this to bridge the gap between investments and having enough capital to open and operate starting in June 2024

So please - if you supported on the original go around, support on the new one!
