We are excited to welcome Lukas Hammelmann for his first visit to the United States- an outlier in the Pfalz producing wines of incredible thrust and verve. Lukas farms a scant 5 hectares in the hinterlands - which just two decades ago were deemed good for just potatoes and onions. Fast forward to a guy with incredible passion and infectious energy alongside a deep understanding of the place and his counterparts, we have a small estate both redefining what the Pfalz is as well as what the future could hold. We will have a three course menu alongside three progressions of Lukas’s Wines and invite attendees to bring wines from estates that Lukas references as inspirations including: Schäfer-Fröhlich, Emrich Schönleber, Peter Jakob Kühn, Rebholz, Bernard Huber, Sven Leiner and Georg Meissner...or just bring yourself - there will be plenty to be had for all.
