After 35 years in the deli business, Michael has passed on the reigns of his beloved deli to Steven Peljovich of Temple Beth Shalom, who has been in the restaurant biz for the last 20 years. Today, Steven is committed to building upon the foundation that has been laid over the past 35 years by Michael. Recently, I had a guest call me who used to live in the area, but moved away in many years ago. She wanted to surprise her husband & re-create our sandwiches back at home. She purchased the meats, breads, cheeses, & condiments & I sent her back home with cooking instructions. This Black & Gold & Reuben were some of the results.
